Time and Pay
Payroll that follows the deal you signed.
Clinicians enter time from their phone. Time and Pay applies the pay package from the deal sheet, state law and your own payroll policies, then builds the file for your payroll system. When the rules disagree, the most generous one wins, so pay never falls below what the law, your policies or the deal requires.

Built by an operator who built payroll, billing and credentialing for a healthcare staffing agency that grew to about $22M in revenue.
Example figures from a California week with no alternative workweek schedule. Your deals, policies and states produce your numbers.

Every pay rule, applied the same way every week.
Most agencies run payroll from spreadsheets and memory. That works until a clinician works a 7th day in California, a holiday lands mid shift, or a stipend gets cut for a missed shift. Time and Pay was built around those exact problems.
Time entry for clinicians and staff
Invite each clinician to their assignment. They enter shifts, meals and call time, submit the week, and only ever see their own timecards.
Approve, reject or reopen
Your team reviews every timecard, sends it back with a note, or reopens it after approval. Every change is recorded in the audit log.
Your work week drives payroll
Pay frequency and the agency work week are always yours. Facility shifts fall into your week, and billing follows the facility week.
All 50 states and DC
Overtime, minimum wage and paid sick leave rules, versioned by effective date and reviewed every quarter, including California meal and rest premiums and Colorado rest pay.
Your leave plans on top of the law
Add PTO, vacation or sick plans. If a plan that replaces state sick leave falls short of the law, it is flagged red and the state minimum applies until you fix it.
The deal sheet, applied
Guarantees, call back minimums, differentials, daily overtime and stipend proration come straight from the deal, so pay matches what the recruiter quoted.
Risk flags before payroll runs
Stipends reduced for missed shifts, weeks that fall under minimum wage and overtime regular rate true ups are flagged with the reason before the file goes out.
Files for your payroll system
ADP Workforce Now, RUN, Paychex Flex, Gusto, Paycor, iSolved and EmployDrive, plus entry sheets for QuickBooks Online Payroll and Zoho Payroll.

Common questions
Do clinicians need to download an app?
No. Clinicians get an email invite and enter time in the browser on their phone or computer. They only see their own assignments and timecards.
Does it replace our payroll provider?
No. Your payroll provider still pays clinicians and files taxes. Time and Pay decides what each clinician should be paid and builds the file your provider imports.
What if our policy is more generous than state law?
Your policy is applied. When state law, your policies and the deal sheet disagree, the most generous rule wins.
How do state law changes reach us?
State rules are versioned by effective date and reviewed every quarter. A new rule only applies to work on or after its effective date, so past weeks never change.
What counts as an active clinician?
Any clinician with time entered in that calendar month. A clinician between assignments is not billed.
